Hi guys, I’d like to share my journey to Yogjakarta, Indonesia ( attending KNSI and ISSTEC 2009). May be any of you wanna have a vecation to that old and historical city. Let’s start from Adi Sucipto International Airport in Yogyakarta.

When u are landed, firstly you have to decide which place to go. I recomend to get to Malioboro. It’s a name of a street in the capital city for shopping center and also many historical building were stand such as Vredeberg Fortress there, ex President Palace, and many others were spread between Keraton NgaYogyakarta ( Yogyakarta’s King Castel) and Train Terminal Station. To get there, u may call Taxi and pay 50.000 IDR or by Trans Jogja Bus platform 1A then pay 3.000 IDR to stop at Malioboro I Bus stop.

If u wanna find a hotel, do’t worry. Along this street u’ll find many hotel, five stars hotel or below with a lower price such as 250.ooo IDR per night where tax and brackfast are included . For sight seeing, u just need to take a becak such kind of three wheels traditional transportation drive manually by man, or by Andong which is four wheels traditional transportation which engined by a horse. Not more than 20.000 IDR, it will teke u traveling around the city. Clean, old, and historical view presented in front of ur eyes. And do’t forget to try Gudek, a traditional food from Jogja. U can find the delicious one in Wijilan street not far from Kings castle and Malioboro street. Only 25.000 IDR then you’ll teste the sweet flavour of rice, egg, chicken, etc, in one plate. Yummy…

U r a shoppacholic, this is ur palace. Many kind of handy craf such as silver made, Beauty Batik ( one of Indonesian traditional Hand made that “taken” by Malaysia ..huuuhh… ), I recomend Mirota Butique for shooping. They give a middle up quality product with a lower price, or if u’r an expertis in bergaining then try thr Bringharjo traditional Market right in front of that butique. This market open at 08.00 AM – 04.00 PM and u’ll find many kind of batik T -shirt, Blouse, Skirt, bed cover, etc, with a lower price then other city. I’ve proved it myself …

Wanna more view, you can get to Merapi Mountain, Parangtritis Beach, or Prambanan Temple, all of them promising a beatiful Indonesia… wooow… or may be u wanna see one of world gretest miracle, Borobudur Tample which is about 50 Km from Yogyakarta ( 1,5 hours bus trip) in Magelang, central Java. Fuiiih, I wonder how can the ancient people built the temple without high tech such as nowdays It taken 75 years to built it. Allah SWT is the most powerfull and the only one know why, when, who, and why it was built.

I’ve been there twice but not all place I get, wish some day I’ll get there again. So, any one interested? Just come and see it by urselves. Prove what I write, OK !

Alhamdulillah sampe detik ini kondisi gw sehat. Tadinya gw pikir fisik gw gak kan kuat ngejalanin rute penerbangan tersebut dalam dua minggu dan hanya jeda 3 hari. Biasanya kalo menjalani satu rute aja langsung roboh, sakit seminggu.

Perjalanan berlangsung lancar, tanpa kendala berarti. Malah gw merasa sangat dilindungi Allah. Di tiap kesusahan yang datang, tiba-tiba pertolongan menghampiri. Contohnya, karena sibuk nyiapin dan submit paper hnicem, gw terlambat berangkat jkt pesawat j 6. Gw berangkat j 05.30 padahal dah bangun dari 01.30 . pake sepatu bedak , dll di dalam mobil. Pas ditengah jalan baru inget. HP ketinggalaaannn… mau balik lagi gak keburu. Untungnya gw bw hp satu lagi, padahal sebelumnya tu hp gak gw bawa. Entah kenapa malemnya hp itu dah gw masukun tas + chargernya. Tapi ya gitu, gw bener2 hilang dari peredaran karena hp itu cuma ada no klrg aja. Pas pulang banyak banget rekan yg komplain, sorry guys i do’t mean it.

Contoh lain, pas gw seminar di uii. Karena giliran gw dah selesai tapi acara masih lama. Gw milih balik ke hotel karena mending jalan ke Malioboro … tapi bis jemputan panitia br dateng j 5. Sedangkan keluar dari uii mesti naik jalan, naik angkot, baru deh nemu taksi, duh ribett banget… jadi dengan pasrahnya gw bengong di depan auditorium sambil liat2 sapa tau ada taksi kosong lewat… pas lg bengong pasarah gitu, ada ibu yang nyamperin ” mau pulang ya dek, ikut saya aja naik mobil panitianya. Saya jg mau ke bandara” kata beliau. Belakangan gw tau namanya ibu ina dari UNJ. Trus dia bilang gak tau jg kenapa td mau nawarin saya, padahal kan dia bukan panitia jd gak berhak dan gak kenal pula sama gw. Dalam hati ku bergumam, Allah lah yang menggerakkan hatimu, tanpa daya upaya ku tanpa pertolongan-Nya. See, Allah love me much.

Masih satu lagi jadwal penerbangan dinas yg harus gw jalani. Insyallah nanti di bulan Maret 2009, atau mungkin dua kali pd bulan Feb kalo jd. Setelah itu, gw mau istirahat dl terbang2 dan mau beresin jenjang, mana bunda dah “memperingatkan” untuk kesekian kalinya untuk berhenti sejenak mengejar karir. Yeach, as your wish mom. The heaven beneath your feet. God will what u wish …

Abstract

The Internet is increasingly used as a medium for providing information and also service needed by consumer. Electronic marketplaces are the latest development in business to business electronic commerce that provides simple process and promising efficiency in matching buyer and supplier then traditional marketing. It becomes the global trading communities. This paper describes the impact of cultural differences to the slow growth of electronic marketing in Indonesia. Trust and ethical issue are also the impact factor of consumer acceptance to fully automated e-market. The concepts of the cultural differences, cross-cultural marketing are discussed. The problems of applying the cross-cultural e-marketing in Indonesia are pointed out in this preliminary study and the countermeasures against these problems are put forward. As the result, culture mainly influences the customer preferences and behavior using electronic market as part of their culture.
